We are looking for Spray Painters are responsible for applying spray paints on parts, metals, automobiles, etc., and executing associated tasks, including discussing painting project requirements with clients, preparing the job site, applying primers, removing old paint, filling holes, matching colours, and cleaning tools and site.
Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting.
Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula.
Ensure facility and spray painting equipment are in good working condition.
Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors.
Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications.
Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
Scrutinize and measure parts to maintain statistical process control charts.
Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards, and make necessary adjustments.
Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
Follow company requirements to select paint, and match colours of paint following specified colour charts.
Responsible for material and minor maintenance.
40 Hours (Full Time).
Minimum 3 years of experience in assisting painters in a workshop environment.
Familiar with safely handling solvents and chemicals.
Able to blend paint and adjust paint guns and systems.
Expertise in utilizing various spray painting tools and equipment such as pressure pots, spray guns, hoses, nozzles, gauges, cup guns, conveyor line, paint gun cleaner unit, protective spray painting equipment, paint shakers, and high-lifts.
Aptitude in using various hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, and hammers.
Ability to work autonomously, with a strong focus on safety
Must know how to polish paintwork after spray.
